In 1965, the King of American exploitation films, Russ Meyer, released this super badass and hyper sexual but very powerful film — highlighting a group of kick ass women, who use their sexual energy and organized efforts to get what they want. YES — he flipped the script — and put a dominating woman as lead, who… get ready for this.. exploits men, kicks their ass with her homegirls, and uses her bomb looks to “get that money”. There’s violence, boobs, money, and everything that made “sleazy” cinema so damn entertaining and kinda of complex. We thank Mr. Meyer for recognizing the power that is… female energy. It’s so refreshing to see an old film where women are portrayed as being in control - instead of the other way around. Super entertaining, funny, and dare I say — empowering??
